Join the ACHA Program Planning Committee!
ACHA is looking for interested volunteers to apply for the position of 2028 Section Program Planner on the ACHA Program Planning Committee (PPC). Following a review of interested members’ application materials, ACHA will appoint one 2028 Program Planner to represent each ACHA section.
This new process replaces the previous process where Program Planners-Elect were nominated by section members and elected by members via the ACHA national election ballot. We have changed the designation from Program Planner-Elect (since this is no longer an elected position) and will now refer to all Program Planners according to the year they will be planning the meeting.

Review and interviews of candidates

Candidates appointed by ACHA President
June 2026-June 2027
Work collaboratively with your section’s 2027 Section Program Planner to review program submissions for the 2027 ACHA Annual Meeting (this year is intended to be a year of training)
June 2027-October 2027
Work collaboratively with other 2028 Section Program Planners to review, select, and solicit programs for the 2028 ACHA Annual Meeting
November 2027
Attend the PPC Meeting at the site of the 2028 ACHA Annual Meeting
December 2027-June 2028
Work with ACHA staff as needed to finalize session/speaker details related to selected sessions.
