How much credit will be available?

Up to 20-25 continuing education (CE) credits in multiple disciplines will be available – at no additional charge – for those who attend the full conference. You’ll be able to choose from 140+ sessions to earn the credit you need!

 

What types of credit will be available?

Credit is not yet approved for ACHA 2025. Final approvals will be announced in winter/spring 2025, but ACHA anticipates applying for credit for:

  • Physicians, physician assistants
    Via accredited providers for the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) and the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP)
  • Pharmacists
    Via an accredited provider for the American Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE)
  • Nurses, nurse practitioners
    Via an accredited provider for the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
  • Psychologists
    Via an accredited provider for the American Psychological Association (APA)
  • Certified counselors
    Via an accredited provider for National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC)
  • Licensed social workers
    Via an accredited provider for the National Association of Social Workers (NASW)
  • Certified health education specialists
    Via an accredited provider for the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing (NCHEC)

Will my licensing board accept the credit?

ACHA is not able to advise you individually. Please check with your state licensing board on whether credit approved by any of the organizations listed above is acceptable towards your continuing education requirements.
