Student Panel Presentation

Peer Education: Student Voices in Action

Wednesday, May 27, 10:30-11:30 am
Room: Governor's Square 10

Peer education is a valuable approach on college campuses for educating students on a wide range of topics. Through training, institutional support, and professional development, peer educators gain the skills and confidence to address health issues, navigate sensitive conversations, challenge misinformation, and communicate effectively with their peers.

In this session, a panel of peer educators will share their experiences and discuss how their programs have strengthened their confidence in addressing sensitive topics, engaging with differing perspectives without judgment, and assuming leadership roles. They will also highlight the positive impact peer health education has on the broader campus community.
