Mobility
- All meeting and event spaces are accessible to wheelchair and scooter users.
- Elevators can be used to access all floors.
- Any attendee who indicates on their registration form that they need mobility accommodations will be contacted by ACHA staff.
- Presenters needing mobility accommodations should indicate this on their AV Request Form.
Auditory
- The Opening General Session/Keynote will have live ASL interpreters. Please plan to sit near the front of the room if you need this service.
- Any attendee who indicates on their registration form that they need auditory accommodations will be contacted by ACHA staff.
- All speakers will be asked to use microphones, regardless of the number of participants in the session.
Visual
- All meeting information is available on the mobile meeting app, which is accessible on mobile devices and desktop/laptop computers.
- A PDF of the program book will be available upon request.
- Any attendee who indicates on their registration form that they need visual accommodations will be contacted by ACHA staff.
- Presenters have been encouraged to review information regarding making their presentations accessible.
Additional Accommodations
- Presenters have been given guidance on the use of inclusive language in their presentations and in their conversations with attendees.
- Attendees will have access to a nursing/lactation room.
- There will be all-gender restrooms located within the meeting space. Single-gender restrooms will also be available.
- There will be a Quiet Room/Reflection Space available to all meeting attendees. Note that this room is not intended for networking, making phone calls, etc.
